A victory over the unders!

Around 120 Streeters of all skill levels, from “never really played before” to college-level, kick off in a series of soccer matches at the Pier 40 playing fields in lower Manhattan, as 300 coworkers cheer them on from a beautiful simulcast reception at a local venue.

Jane Street’s Over/Under Soccer Tournament is a decade-long tradition spanning our New York, London, and Hong Kong offices. Each year, Streeters under age 30 compete against Streeters over 30, and the friendly rivalry grows with each showdown on the pitch.

While the Unders dominated much of the C- and B-level matches this year, the A-level match brought record attendance – and more importantly, a second consecutive Overs victory with a dramatic goal late in the second half!
